2.1) 課程由僱主及培訓機構代表共同制訂
2.2) 學費大部份由政府資助 (政府津貼約七成學費)
2.3) 課程設有嚴格的質素保證機制
2.4) 學員修畢課程及通過評核測試和出席率要求將由「技能提升計劃秘書處」獲發證書，其資歷獲僱主和業內廣泛承認
3. 本課程只接受傳真、郵寄或親身報名，申請者必須遞交「技能提升計劃課程報名表」及有關在職工作證明文件，方可接受申請。
4. 必須填寫報名表內的所有資料
